While we have six members of the Silicon Prairie News team here in Austin for SXSW Interactive, we couldn’t resist the urge to tap the wider community from in and around Des Moines, Omaha and Kansas City to share their insights and experiences of the festival. Specifically, we asked them for for a “day in the life” or what we’re calling “SXSnippets” and the first two are live:
- Blake Miller of Think Big Partners in Kansas City writes about participating in the Startup Bus projecten route to Texas.
- David Graff of Hudl in Lincoln writes about their trip down, finding good breakfast tacos, inflatable sleeping furniture and more.
Additionally, Michael Stacy of our team covered the activities of Kansas City-based AgLocal, who participated in a Startup America Pitch event at the Austin City Limits theater and is also competing today in the SXSW Accelerator.
